Did you know that LinkedIn allows you to customize your advertising interest categories so that the professional network will show you relevant ads you may be interested in? By default, all of LinkedIn’s possible interest categories are turned on, but you can turn off the ones you’re not interested in. Our guide will show you how this done.

Note: These screenshots were captured in the LinkedIn application on iOS. Also note, even if you turn off some of these categories (or even if you turn off the entire interest categories feature), you’ll still see ads on LinkedIn.

Step 1: Tap your profile picture in the top-left corner of the screen.

Step 5: Tap the checkmark to the left of any category you’re not interested in. There are 12 pages of interest categories to look through. You can change pages by tapping the page numbers above the “Save interest settings” button.
