Instagram added a new Multi-Capture feature to Stories, which allows users to create and share multiple photographs at once. Our guide will show you how to use the Multi-Capture feature in Instagram Stories.
Note: These screenshots were captured in the Instagram application on iOS.
Step 1: On the Instagram Stories camera, tap the Multi-Capture icon on the left side of the screen.
Step 2: Tap the capture button at the bottom of the screen to take your first photo.
Step 3: Tap the capture button up to seven more times to create up to eight Stories posts in total. When you’re done taking photos, tap “Next” at the bottom of the screen.
Step 5: Now, you can edit each post individually by tapping on the photo previews in the bottom-left corner of the screen to switch between pictures.
Step 6: When you’re ready to share your posts, tap “Next” in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Step 7: Tap the desired Share and/or Send buttons to share your posts to your Stories or send them to one or more friends.
