There’s more ways to consume content than ever before, and the coronavirus pandemic has only supercharged existing trends, making smart TVs one of the fastest growing marketplaces. Time spent streaming grew 44% year-over-year between the fourth quarters of 2019 and 2020, led by smart TVs with a massive 157% increase in viewing hours, according to data from Conviva.
